The plans for the food were
(1) the hostel would cook for us when we arrived;
(2) we would have a lot of food delivered so we could make the other meals themselves.
Well - following the lateness of the plane (which in the end was OK), and the lateness of the coach (which in the end was OK), our third problem was that the food delivery didn't arrive today!!
But we managed this one too, because plan (1) did work: we had
SHEPHERD'S PIE followed by APPLE CRUMBLE - typically British food, specially for our Palestinian visitors' first day of the project, and warm and tasty (thank you hostel cooks!)
