Day 1 - Looking at Sheringham

Differences we noticed...

YELLOW
streets are different - cars on left not right
specific places you can smoke in
car number plates are yellow at back, white on front
buildings are different - wood
different shape roofs
a lot of pets (dogs, cats)
bicycles like cars, they obey the lights etc
police cars are different
royal crown on the
driver on the right not the left

Groups looked for things that were new and this is what they noticed...

GREEN
 curved streets(surfaces)
houses different architecture eg the roof and everything
doors
people walk with dogs
trees have different colour leaves
cars on different sides of the road
beer gardens
different languages
organised people
in London more ethnicities, here everyone is white
wind turbines
British flags
seems calm
fresh fish
seagulls
beach
beach huts
green space
police box
trains
cake sales

RED
transport different - roads and cars and everything
shops in specific places
kinds of buildings
clean place
police box because they don't have a police station
police without weapons
sea
didn't see the sand
many many people have dogs
many old people
and they seem very active, playing bowls
weather - in Palestine 4 seasons, here many types of weather in a day
hear 'sorry' a lot
wind turbines

BLUE
churches a different design
buildings closer together in Palestine than Sheringham
cars drive on the other side
different sports - we saw bowls
lots of green spaces
youth clubs
traffic lights
trains (not like London either - a steam train)
train going across the road
police box
lots of arcades
ocean different - everyone can go (in Palestine we aren't allowed to go)
seagulls
not as many cars in Palestine
shops are bigger (giant Tesco)
crowded near the beach
more trees
houses closer together in Palestine
road bumps are different
more dogs
pubs
everyone old and white
